Within this web site, you'll be able to research and decide
exactly what type of poker table is right for you, and customize it to fit
your needs. Literally anything is possible, so have your imagination ready!
Let's start with a little info about me, and how I've come
to custom build poker tables. For the past few years, I've become a growing
poker enthusiast. Over the last year, I've been looking to purchase a full
size Texas Hold'em Poker Table to put in my finished basement for leisurely
games with friends and co-workers. Much to my surprise, there are basically
two types of tables out there. Poor quality tables, which you pay too much
for and high quality tables, which you pay too much for. I literally
researched the web for months to find a reasonably priced full sized Texas
Hold'em Poker Table that was furniture quality. As far as I'm concerned,
until I came along it hadn't existed.
With no luck at all, I was forced to fend for myself. I
switched from looking for a fully completed table, to looking for parts and
researching how to make one myself. I again researched for about two months,
reading forum after forum, visiting do it yourself web site after web site
and came to the conclusion that no single site had the best way to construct
a table. To me, this table needed to be a beautiful piece of furniture. That
meant it needed the perfect table base. It also needed to have super high
quality felt, so cards would slide across them effortlessly, comparable to
that of a casino. It needed to be extremely comfortable for those long
sessions. So extra special care needed to be taken with the rail, not only
with the materials but with the way it was constructed. With all that being
said, I bought the materials and began on my mission to make a better table
than I had seen available, for a lot less than they were being sold for. Not
only did I do it, I did it better than I could ever have imagined.
Tables of this quality sell for as much as $4,000. And they
average around $1500. People have asked me, "Why bother selling them cheaper
than everyone else?" The answer actually has two parts. First, I enjoyed
building my first table so much that I didn't want to stop. Second, I don't
want anyone else who is looking for the quality I was looking for to have to
take out a second mortgage to get it. I've also had people say to me, "You
could make so much more money on these tables if you just sold them for
more." The truth of the matter is, I'm not really doing this for the money.
I have a great job and do very well for myself. Although, if I could build
and sell just one table a month, the modest amount I make on them would go
towards buying more tools, more supplies for more tables, or maybe just bank
roll my next session on the $6/$12 table. It's honestly more about giving
someone else the joy I had when I finally finished my first table. I just
stood there and stared at it, thinking to myself "I cant believe it looks
this good." I want you to be saying that to yourself when you set it up in
your own game room.

that's available to customize with your new Texas Hold'em table.
