The padded rail of your new poker table is just as important as the felt. You'll be spending the majority of your time either leaning on it, or resting your arms there. If it isn't comfortable, your playing experience will be horrible. There are many types of foam, and I have access to them all. However, I recommend the highest quality 1" foam padding. This comes standard on all of the tables I build, unless otherwise requested by the buyer.

I make all of my padded rails with one continuous sheet of vinyl. There will be no seams and it will be free of any visible wrinkles. I can, at no additional cost leave a dealer cut out upon request. If you plan on having a static dealer for your games, this is definitely the way to go. However, if you won't always have a static dealer or plan to just rotate the deal then you'll want the padded rail all the way around. Below are the numerous colors the rail vinyl is available in.
